Project Framework

The City of Boca Raton, through Public Art Boca, seeks an artist or artist-led team to create a temporary artwork for the atrium windows of the Downtown Boca Raton Public Library. The work will draw on the Living Anthologies memoirs, written by Boca Raton residents 55 and older. It will be installed on a two-story glass wall seen from inside the Library and from NW 2nd Avenue. The work should respond to the memoirs, not simply illustrate them. Artists and artist teams working in any medium are welcome. Successful applicants will typically show experience with site-specific, public, or large-scale work.
